This is our most popular drop over frame.
Its strong construction made out of 4mm thick mild steel which provides a real heavy duty drop over frame.
It is often used when two gates are used as a pair that shut together, the drop over frame stops the gates from moving and twisting over time by securing them together. Its a must for all double gate openings.
It neatly hinges on one gate (usually the larger) to fold over the other. If the two gates are the same length it doesn’t matter which side it goes on. When you need to open the gates it rotates all the way back over and on to the gate it is hinged on.

Product Description
Part of our economy ironmongery range of gate fixings this drop over frame is 350mm in length and 48mm deep. It suits our range of wooden field gates perfectly.
It suits wooden gates of a thickness between 75mm and 85mm thick. It comes predrilled at one end to suit a 100mm dome head coach bolt which is provided free of charge complete with nut and washer!
The handle makes it extremely easy to use, but please note that when first fitted they can be a little stiff until they bed in. An additional small hook on plate can be added to this to make the drop over frame lockable.

Delivery Policy
We will endeavour to deliver your items as soon as possible. Items on backorder are not held in stock and can sometimes mean a delay to your delivery. Our normal delivery service is currently 5-7 working days. We will contact you when your order is ready to confirm delivery.
All deliveries are kerbside unless otherwise agreed with the driver on the day. Driver discretion takes precedent. If you require HIAB delivery, please mention this when placing your order. Please add details in the notes section.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a nationwide delivery service on our bulky items. However, if you would like to place a sizeable order, please call our sales office on 01538 753184 as alternative delivery options may be available.
We endeavour to post out your small goods the next working day; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
